CLASSROOM PARAPROFESSIONAL (Aide) POSITION(S)
On occasion, the Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District has classroom support/Paraprofessional positions available to assist students in the classroom. These positions are usually full-time (during the school year) but may be offered part-time as well depending upon the employment position needed. These positions involve working with students with additional educational needs, special education needs, or specific physical or cognitive disabilities. Paraprofessionals, depending upon the position, assist students in either special education or regular education classrooms, as well as fulfilling other employment duties as assigned by the administrative team. Applicants must be flexible, patient, energetic, and collaborative. Compensation starts at $14.50/hour and increases on a tiered schedule + a great benefit package including health insurance for full-time (during the school year) employees. Substitute Food Service Workers
The Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District is also seeking Substitute Kitchen Staff Workers. The responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to, preparing and serving meals to students and staff as well as general kitchen related tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate would be energetic,cooperative, and willing to take on a variety of tasks in a positive manner each day that support our students, staff, and school district in the Food Service Department. Substitute Custodial Positions
The Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District is seeking applicants for Substitute Custodial Positions. Duties include general maintenance, cleaning/sanitizing, and working with a maintenance team to ensure the school facilities are in great working condition. The ideal Substitute Custodians would be able to work independently, lift at least 50 lbs, have general maintenance and cleaning/sanitizing skills, take pride in their work and district facilities, and be able to work as a cooperative team member.
